Black Rain: New York detectives Nick Conklin and Nick Vincent capture a killer who is part of the Japanese Mafia. Upon escorting him back to Japan, he escapes. With the assistance of the Tokyo police they try and track this killer down. They find themselves being pulled deep into the world of the Japanese Mafia.

Say It Isn't So: Pleasantly un-ambitious Klein falls for the new hairdresser in town Graham only to find out (after having sex with her) that she's his sister! Cast includes Heather Graham, Chris Klein, Orlando Jones, Sally Field, Richard Jenkins, John Rothman, Brent Briscoe, and Sarah Silverman. (96 minutes,'88)

China Nine Liberty 37: This is a mystifying Western in which railroad tycoons spare a gentleman from the gallows in trade for killing another gunfighter. The gunfighter's girl falls for the killer and helps do his evil work. Title refers to the signpost giving distance to 2 close-by towns. Cast includes Warren Oates, Fabio Testi, Jenny Agutter, and Sam Peckinpah. (102 minutes,'78)

An Innocent Man: Jimmie Rainwood had his life turned upside down. Two corrupt cops break in to his house suspecting to find drugs. They have the wrong address. To cover their tracks they plant evidence, and have him convicted. Three years later he is release from prison, and sets out to prove his innocence.

Hannibal Brooks: Delightful yet forgettable film of a British prisoner of war( Reed) ordered to take a priceless elephant to the Munich Zoo during WW2. Made to go on foot, he turns trip into a plan to make an escape. Cast includes Oliver Reed, Michael J. Pollard, Wolfgang Preiss, Helmut Lohner, Karin Baal, and Peter Karsten. (101 minutes,'69)

Stage Fright: Theater student Wyman turns covert sleuth because an actress' spouse is killed. There are some stimulating scenes however the Mr. Hitchcock misses on this one. Cast includes Marlene Dietrich, Jane Wyman, Richard Todd, Kay Walsh, Aastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell, Sybil Thorndike, and Patricia Hitchcock. (110 minutes,'50)

The Meteor Man: Townsend plays a hesitant, nerdy school teacher with a fear of heights whose hit by an abnormal emerald meteor that turns him into a superhero. Townsend additionally inscribed this "Superman N the Hood" story, full of good values, but very few funny moments. As a comedy it just doesn't soar. Cast includes Robert Townsend, Marla Gibbs, Eddie Griffin, Robert Guillaume, James Earl Jones, Roy Fegan, and Bill Cosby. (100 minutes,'93)
